Pink Camellia bed jackets

These very useful little ballet wraps are a big favourite with our customers and are knitted for us in Nottingham, England by a family firm that celebrated its centenary in 2012.

The 100% pure wool bed jacket comes in two subtle colours, dusky pink or blue and in two versions- single knitted layer or double knitted for extra warmth.

For that extra softness there is also the cream ballet wrap in wool with 10% cashmere.

Perfect for keeping you warm and so pretty you'll want to wear outside the bedroom too!

The bed jackets are one size; suitable for anyone between UK size 10 & UK size 16.

Bed jackets had their heyday in the 1930's & 40's. Glamourised in the Hollywood movies of that era-think Ginger Rodgers and Carole Lombard...they were often fabulous confections of silk, lace & feathers.

The bed jacket, being a very practical item, was very popular into the fifties but the era of the s'swinging 60's'put an end to that!

They are still a very practical item and a lot nicer to wear than an old cardigan...

We have looked hard to find some ones that we would like to wear but finding it difficult decided to get our own made up.

G.H. Hurt & Sons are the last surviving Nottingham framework knitters of a centuries old tradition and they produce the sweet Pink Camellia ballet wrap bed jackets for us here in the UK.
